finalRender Subscription DROP 1 : Adaptive Sampling New Feature: see https://vimeo.com/262110135

In this video whereby Edwin Braun applies Adaptive Sampling to render the wooden blocks image, the iterations are set at a high of 10,000 to ensure a full sampling. Now with finalRender's Adaptive Sampling, users can set the Adaptive Sampling Threshold on a certain value; recommended at 0.01 to 0.05 range for optimal sampling. Note: higher value means more sampling and lower value less sampling, so it really is up to you - what kind of render pass and results you wish to get. From the 3dsMax menu, select 'Samples' buffer to view : the hot red areas you see are considered to have more 'noise' (more calculation going on) and the cool blue areas are less noisy (less calculation).
This new feature allows you to maintain a very high rendering pass value and to getting the red areas calculated faster via Adaptive Sampling. This calculation remains unbiased so everything is still physically accurate. And you can add this on top of all the other renderings that you are doing.
